I ended up not going to Scottsdale yesterday morning, but it turned out for the best because my Bestie ended up coming down from Flagstaff. We had a blast hanging out and playing hide and go seek in Wal-Mart. We have so much fun together, I really miss her when she's not around. :( We also went to Bent Cover Books and she bought a ton of books. I'm rubbing off on people...I love it. Haha. I got a couple more romance novels, so I can fit in with my book club pals. I was supposed to go to dinner with her and to a club, but it didn't work out. I ended up going to two bars/clubs with my mom and her friends. Surprisingly her friends are a lot of fun.
Funny Things From Last Night:
We started out in this place called Sangria. Everyone was in cocktail dresses and suits. It was a really strange atmosphere. Part of the group we were with ended up getting table service and paid $225 for Grey Goose. We decided this wasn't the place for us and high tailed it out of there.
We ended up at Hurricane Bay. I've been here before with them and it's a pretty fun place. Of course the bouncer checked my ID and gave me trouble about it. He didn't believe I was 25. This happened last time I was here. The only thing I can decide is that they'll get a lot of underage kids trying to sneak in.
I got a couple free shots and danced a ton. I had a great time.
There was this girl/boy there that was cracking me up. She was trying really hard to be manly and was succeeding to a point. Kelly and I may have been the only ones to realize she was a woman. I really hope this isn't the case.
Ok now moving on to today.
Alli came over again in the afternoon time and we went to Subway. It was yummy. We chatted and bonded. Like I said before I love her and miss her dearly. :(
I finished reading Last Night In Montreal
. It was SO good. Check out my review in the post prior to this one. :) (I'm getting carried away with those smilies again. haha)That was about all for today. I know, it wasn't as exciting as yesterday. I was a nice relaxing day though. I still need to read 2 more books before the end of the month. I shouldn't have a problem with that. I may even exceed 12, but we'll see.
